DJ XL PRODUCTIONS
I am Harry.
My music career started with learning to play the trumpet in Elementary School Band at age 8. I participated in both the concert and marching band in Middle School learning to also play the baritone horn. I was chosen to attend a state funded event called Project Poetry Live in 7th grade. I enjoyed the jazz based event so much I continued to join them each year for 8 years, first playing the baritone horn then the bass guitar, under the direction of the world renowned saxophonist/teacher Don Braden.
I also attended the Litchfield Jazz Camp and played in the Litchfield Jazz Fest under Don’s direction in 2006. My music career continued in High School with joining the concert and marching bands playing the baritone horn. It was also at that time I joined some local friends to form a rock cover band, Lethologica, playing the bass with them for 3 years in local venues. In 2008 I began working with local DJ Michael Germon, helping with set-up, DJ specialist and Photo Booth technician until present. In 2012 I joined with 3 other friends to establish the band –ISH-, performing classic rock, funk and blues cover songs, to present.
I live in Southington, CT with my lovely wife and joyful son. I have my own DJ system with state-of-the-art speakers and an up-to-date Top 40 and classic hits song list for your listening pleasure. I have been the DJ to many area events and hope to continue my passion with music for you.
